My 13th Birthday

Today is my Birthdayyy!! I woke up a bit late today cuz I kinda stayed up late while using my phone, hehe. Once I woke up, mum told me to brush my teeth, wash my face and to wear a nice dress. Once I did all of that, mum took out the cake and and lit the candles. We took a ton of photos together. I couldn't contain my  excitement and asked if I could open my presents. I was realllllllyyyy shook when I saw the presents! The first present that I opened up was a BTS hoodie. I was so shookkkkkkkk. Like, I've alwayssss wanted a BTS hoodie! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ The second present was a Bluetooth microphone. I was legit so shook when I first saw that. The next present that I opened up ended being a wallet. I heard it's from my brother (but idk actually) anyways... Thank youu! Then my brother opened up one of my present! ಠ_ಠ he showed me what it was, and it was a perfume. I really liked the fragrance. Last but not least, the green coloured present. I actually opened it last cuz I thought it was a boring one, but it was legit the best one!1!1!1! I was literally shook when I found out I got a BTS Map Of The Soul: Persona Album! Like, I was so freaked out omg. I got V and J-Hope photocards, and found out that I got a bonus photocard. A poster also came with the album. Fyi, I got the 04 Version. Then my dad came and gave my one other present. It was a watch! It was a digital watch and the best thing was that it was water resistant! I honestly love it so much! Thank you dad!!!!!

Then when I went to school, one of my friends came up to me, and gave me a wrapped up present. I eagerly opened it and inside was an EXO Don't Mess Up My Tempo era (I think¿) Poster and a bunch of NCT Dream Lomo Cards. I was sooo happyyyy!

Ice Skating

A few weeks back, my family and I went to a mall. 

So, inside the mall, there was an ice skating rink. I guess I've been staring at it for some time, until my dad asked if I wanted to go inside and try it. I agreed, cuz I actually did wanna try it, even if I've never tried it before, I mean, for experience, you know?  (｡◕‿◕｡) 

When me and my brother first got inside, we felt really cold, but it was a good cold. I slipped like 127 (see what I did there¿) times, hehe. My brother ended up using a helper (I guess?) That looked like a penguin. It helped him a lot, cuz before he used that, he slipped so many times. Me and my brother then went around the rink. I saw a lot of smaller kids just skating around, and honestly, I thought they were much better than me. I also made a friend while being inside the rink. I guess she was younger than me, and was really nice. We went around the rink together. Maybe if someone else saw us, they'd think that we had known each other wayyyyy before, hehe. I could also see my mum and dad recording us from the other side. 

Honestly speaking, it was a really fun experience. I ended up getting bruises on my knee 🙃. But I'd love to go back there, and I'm sure my brother would too!

Making Flowers From Corn Husk

A week ago, my class was tasked to make a flower from corn husk. The thing is, we weren't taught how to. The teacher just told us to look at YouTube and follow the instructions. I don't know, I just feel like that was a weird thing.

I was kinda confused about... Everything. Then I asked my friend Vinka. She told me she was told to do the same thing, so we made the flowers together. I went to her house and we started making the flowers. We put the corn husk inside a pan and boiled it while putting some food colouring in it. Eventually, the corn husk absorbed the colour and it came out pretty well. We only did 2 colours, which was red and green.

We cut the big pieces of the corn husks and made it smaller. We then the petals one by one. We glued it together using a glue gun. Most people used a  string/thread but we thought that it would just be more complicated. We used the green coloured corn husks and glued them just under the petals so the ugly part would be hidden. We bought fake leaves and glued them on the stem which was iron. We then covered the iron by using floral tape.

I was actually proud of my flowers. It was kinda easy to make. My flowers were kinda big but I didn't mind, it looks cool anyway 

Bumi Manusia

Last week, my family and I went to the cinemas to watch 'Bumi Manusia'. The lead actor was Iqbaal Ramadhan. He used to be a member of Cowboy Junior, or CJR for short.
The movie lasted for 3 hours but it honestly wasn't that long, cuz I was so immersed in the movie.

The movie was set back to when Indonesia was still colonized.
One day, Minke (Iqbaal) and his friend went to someone's house. Once they arrived, they met someone by nthe name of Darsam. He guards their house. Once they exchanged Hellos with someone that lived in that house, they sat on the terrace. Then, a beautiful girl came out and had a conversation with Minke. She then allowed him to come inside the house and wander around. That girl was named Annelise Malema.
They ran to the backyard and to everywhere. Just then, Annelise tripped. Minke then helped her up... Then kissed her-

They had dinner together, and that's when Ann's father came in and insulted Minke and said how he was a monkey and other stuff. Then Nyai (Ann's mother) yelled at him to stop and go to his room.

They started getting closer to eachother. Ann was always so worried about Minke. That was how Minke ended up living with them. Minke's father, however didn't really like him living and being close to their family. But I guess he got used to it(?).

Minke and Ann got married and stuff, they were in a state of euphoria. But after that, disaster struck.

In a blink of an eye, Nyai got held up at court and Ann's father died of poisoning in a club. Then it was said that Nyai was innocent. But that wasn't it.

After that happened, it led to people not believing the fact that Minke and Annelise are married.

Long story short, Ann got sent to Netherlands while Minke and Nyai weren't even allowed to escort her on her way there. They closed the gates but still, some people got in, even if they had to kill the people guarding the gates. The ending brought tears to lots of people. Minke and Nyai could only watch their Annelise being taken away from them...

NGL, I may, OR may not have cried at the ending... Heh but when I see someone cry I just join in crying 🤣 it weirdddd.
We could learn so much from that movie. It just really cool. It has it's funny and sad parts.

MPLS/MOS

I'm in Junior High School now! School started on the 15th of July. The first three days we're MPLS/MOS (Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah) which is basically where they tell you where everything is.

The teachers there we're so nice and they love to make jokes and tease the students. The OSIS members we're also so nice to everyone. They were like our teachers for the first 3 days.

First day
On the first day, we we're divided into groups. I was in a group called "Aloe Vera". I was in that group along with 3 more people from my primary school and I was really thankful for that. If they weren't in my group, I would look so lost tbh 🤣. Then all 250 other kids and I made a giant line. We then went all around the school and they would tell us where the girl's toilets are, they boy's toilets, the teacher's room and so on. I made some new friends that day. They're all so nice. They then taught us new songs. It was called "Mars SMP 18". Its a really catchy song and I really like it.

Second day
On the second day, it was when other students would perform acts, according to their own extracurricular. Some performed Pramuka, Taekwondo, Karate, Tari Saman and lots more. I had a lot of fun watching them perform.
After that, we were told to clean the school. We each took a plastic bottle and fill it up with water. Then we would water all the plants using that plastic bottle.

Third day
When the third day arrived, we all did something kinda like a welcome ceremony thingy. All 250 of us would sit on the carpet that was in the middle of the field. The ceremony lasted a good few hours. They even told us to sing the school's song. Good thing I memorized it, hehe. After teachers being called one by one and were told to introduce themselves, it was finally recess. I went to the canteen, which was obviously full of people wanting something to eat and drink. After recess, we were then told to make a line and we would kiss the teacher's hand. Here in Indonesia, it is a form of respect towards people that are older than you, so don't be shook if you see someone doing that! We would then high five with the OSIS members cuz we probably wouldn't be seeing as much.

Those 3 days were really fun, ngl! We got to know some parts of the school that we haven't seen before and make new friends. People there seem genuinely nice and I am very glad to be a part of that school.
I do really miss my friends from primary school, but we still chat with each other. I really hope we can still be friends and won't forget one another just because we now go to different schools.
I will always remember them 🖤

Annabelle Comes Home

A few days back, my family and I watched a movie called Annabelle Comes Home. It was a continuation of the previous movie. To be honest, my mum and my brother didn't want to watch this movie. Maybe they were scared? 👀

Plot

Judy Warren was a daughter of Lorraine and Ed Warren. She had the ability to see and sense ghosts and their presence. Her family had a room that was locked up which consisted of cursed things. The most evil thing there was Annabelle. She was a doll that was possessed. She had the most evil thoughts and intentions than the other cursed things in the room. Her parents had some business to attend to and they left her alone at home with Mary Ellen, a trusted friend and a babysitter for Judy. Mary Ellen asked if she could bring her her, Daniela too. Daniela really wanted to come because there was a lot of rumours about Judy's house.

All the drama started when Daniela came to their house. She gave Judy a pair of roller skates and told her to go outside with Mary Ellen to try them. Once they were outside, she started snooping and went into a room that had all of those cursed things and most importantly, Annabelle. She walked around and touched everything she saw. There were lots of coins, a monkey toy and other stuff. She then saw Annabelle, sitting on a rocking chair inside a glass box. She went closer...

Then she saw that Annabelle fell of her chair and her forehead touched the glass. You could say she was JungShook (Lol I just had to ok 🤣). The wanted to put her back on her chair, but to do that, she had to open the door. The door was locked and there was a sign that said

"DO NOT OPEN"

Well, she being the stubborn girl she is, she managed to find the keys and opened the glass box. After she did that, she ran out of the room, forgetting to close and lock Annabelle's sacred glass box. 

Later that night, Annabelle started unleashing other demons. Not long after, Bob, Mary Ellen's crush came to their house to ask Mary Ellen to go on a date and soon, he was attacked by the Hellhound, one of the few demons that Annabelle released, and ran in the chicken coop (this part made me laugh so hard 🤣). Mary Ellen kept getting dragged here and there, while Annabelle was in Judy's room. When Daniela went back in the room to put the keys back, she could get out and it seemed as if the door locked itself. She was stuck in the room and there was a toy monkey going after her. Luckily, she found a rather nice hiding place. She then saw a television that predicted the future. In it, it showed a bloody Daniela screaming after picking up a ringing phone. The Real Daniela then heard a phone ringing in the distance. She made her way closer to the phone, then the other girls came in, trying to stop her from answering the phone. Judy then explains that they have to put Annabelle back into the sacred glass box to let the other spirits rest. When they tried to find and take the doll, Daniela was possessed by the spirit they call 'Bride'. She was wearing a wedding dress. 

Meanwhile, Mary Ellen and Judy has successfully found the doll, after being attacked by hands coming out of a board game. Judy then turned on a projector and they saw Ed's recorded footage which helped Daniela recover. The three then put Annabelle back inside the sacred glass box and they didn't forget to close it this time. After Annabelle was locked in there, all of the other spirits stopped. The three then reunited with Bob, who managed to escape from the Hellhound's attack and was safe.

The next morning, Ed and Lorraine came home and the three told them about their struggles and asked a lot of questions. 

It was Judy's birthday, and there was no one, other than her family that was celebrating it. Then, Someone rang the doorbell. Turns out, it's Mary Ellen, Daniela, Bob and her other friends. Her bully, which was apparently Daniela's little brother came. Daniela had a talk with him and now they've made up with each other.

Wow!!!! The movie was just... aMaZiNg!!! It was just so thrilling and just awesome! I love Horror movies, but can't help but to get scared. 😶

Spider-Man Far From Home

Last night, we went to the cinemas to watch the new Spider-Man movie called Far From Home. It was kinda like a sequel to the previous Avengers movie. When we arrived, we still had a lot of time to spare so we went and bought waffles and went to Wings Stop. We ate a lot and soon, we were all full and went inside to watch the movie.

Plot

It was a sunny day and Peter Parker's teacher announced that they would be doing a school trip. He quickly made a plan with his friend, Ned. He would buy her a necklace and give it to her on top of the Eiffel Tower and they would kiss. UwU. Just when he was packing his things, his aunt came in his room to remind him that he should take the Spidey suit with him.

When they were all in the airplane. He saw that there was a guy called Brad and he also liked MJ. He came up with a plan so that he can sit next to her. He told Ned to lie that he has some perfume allergies. He didn't get to sit next to MJ. But MJ got to sit next to Brad! He kept spying at both of them and he couldn't sleep. 

When they arrived, they went to security check or something and he was told to open his suitcase. Once he opened it, he saw his Spidey suit that his aunt packed with a little note that said "you almost forgot this! ♥️". But that wasn't the reason that he was called. They searched his bags and saw that there was a banana. They then told him that you can't bring bananas. It was a close call.

So basically once they got there, He bought the necklace and tried to find MJ, and saw that she was with Brad. I guess he felt a little jealous. She then went over to him and they shared a short conversation.
Not long after, he could sense something wrong with the water. It soon built up and formed a giant looking water man(?). Then outta nowhere, Mysterio came and defeated that thing.

Once things were cleaned up, he went inside his room with Ned. Suddenly, Ned fell on the ground. He then saw Nick Fury sitting on a chair. Fury then said that he was dodging his calls. Fury then told Peter to come and follow him outside. He took him to a cave with lots of people in it. He then saw Mysterio and made a little conversation with him, saying that he was so cool. Fury then told him to come closer to him and gave him a pair of glasses. He told Peter that Iron Man told him to give it to him. He was still a bit confused and later went back to his room.

In the morning, he apologized on behalf of Nick Fury for shooting him. Ned then told him that it was fine and that it was an honour to be shot by Nick Fury. 

The whole class then saw that there was a bus waiting for them. He then recognized Dimitri. He was in the cave he went to last night and took him back to his hotel room.
He scanned the bus and saw that MJ was sitting with Brad. He then went and sat at the back of the bus and decided to use the glasses that Tony gave him. It came with a note that said
"To the next Iron Man, I trust you. Say "EDITH". It stands for Even Dead I'm The Hero".
He used the glasses and could see what other people were seeing. He looked over to Ned and saw that he was in a conversation with his girlfriend. He then looked over to Brad and that's when Edith said, "is Brad a target?" He then said yes, not knowing what it would do. Then, he saw a bunch of droids coming and planning to blow up the bus. He held the wheel and drove them further away so they wouldn't be shot by the droids. He quickly told Edith to turn off all of the droids.

After an hour or so, the bus came to a stop to let everyone have a 10 minute toliet break. Dimitri then told Peter to go inside a house. He then saw a girl with a black suit. The girl told him to undress and once he took of his pants, The unexpected happened. Brad walked in. He was Shook. He then took a picture of Peter and ran out. Peter ran after him and told him that it wasn't what it looked like.

They finally reached their destination and settled in at another hotel. It was much more cleaner than the last. The class were supposed to go to the Opera House, but some of them escaped and went to a festival. Those people were Ned and his girlfriend, Betty and MJ. She only wanted to see where Peter was going. Then out of nowhere, a lava monster (Monsta X✨) came out of the ground. Once (Twice✨) again, they tried to defeat the monster. They, as in Spider-Man and Mysterio. Betty didn't know it was Spider-Man, so she called him "Spider Monkey" while she and Ned were screaming for help, the monster saw them and went after them. That is when Mysterio came and helped him. Mysterio then did a sacrifice and when through the Monster's body. But he didn't die, he just suffered a rather big injury. Once that was finished, Peter and Mysterio then went to a bar. Peter then considered that Beck (Mysterio) was a worthy leader and gave him EDITH.

He then realised he made a mistake by giving Beck EDITH. Beck was just faking everything. He claimed that the Elementals (the monsters) killed his world and his family. Peter then went to Berlin to meet with Nick Fury. Little did he know, Beck came after him. They then had a massive fight. But it was just illusions. Then, he saw Beck laying lifelessly on the ground. Just when he thought it was done, he got shot again. It was just an illusion. When the Real Beck was getting closer to Nick Fury, he was shot down. He fell and landed near Spider-Man. He then told Peter how he was worthy of Edith and just when he almost gave the glasses to Peter, Peter then held the Real Beck's hand and Continously hit him until he died. The Real Beck has Died!1!1!

It was now night time and when he came back to hotel room, he asked MJ to come outside and decided to tell her about his feelings towards her. She then showed him the flower necklace that was a bit broken now. Well, Peter's plan didn't entirely work as he wanted, but at least MJ is his girlfriend and he got that kiss he wanted. Now, MJ and Ned along with a few other people now that he is Spider-Man.

The movie was just amazing! It had it's funny parts and sad parts.
R.I.P Iron Man
I could tell Lintang really liked the movie, judging by the way his eyes shone up once we talked about Spider-Man. He loves Spider-Man so much. He has a ton of Spider-Man figurines.
